Import Export (XML) Utility

XML export files from Targsats have been validated by the DCSF IMS as meeting the Government information management strategy interoperability standard.

You do not have to have to place all your assessment data into your administration system to transfer data electronically to the next school.

If new children enter the school or you are setting up a new data book you can transfer pupil information electronically from your admin system into Targsats no more entering of UPN and pupil information manually or copying and pasting data.

As XML files have to be compatible between all systems, Targsats will accept and send information to and from other systems such as SIMS, Phoenix, RMS, CCM or any other software supplier that imports and exports XML files to the IMS interoperability standard. We advise our users to check that their system is updated to meet the required interoperability standard.

There is also a utility to enable you to import the KS1 and KS2 Excel export files from RAISEonline to your TargSATS data books.
